Graphics
There are a various graphics available for use in promoting National Meteorologists Day. The gallery below contains a collection of ready-made graphics that can be easily download and used in social media posts and elsewhere. These include hero graphics, banners, graphics depicting meteorologists at work, as well as graphics portraying historical significance, including those paying tribute to the contributions made by African Americans and women in the field of meteorology. There is also an image featuring just the “Celebrate NATIONAL METEOROLOGISTS DAY MAY 9” textual graphic—with a transparent background—that can be applied to your own graphics or photos.
Use the arrows to scroll through the gallery of images below or simply swipe if on a mobile device. To download an image, right-click or, if on a mobile device, long-press and select “Save Image As...”
Customizable Graphics
1. Click the link to the left.
2. Click “View Template.”
A new window will open with an editable copy of the design in your Canva account. If you do not have a Canva account, you can make a free account when prompted. There are no fees unless you upgrade to a Premium account, and the service works on the web and mobile devices.
3. On the left side, click the ‘Uploads’ tab.
Choose a photo that has been uploaded or upload a new one.
4. Click the photo and drag it over the circle frame.
You may have to drag it back-and-forth over the frame before it is added and cropped.
5. Save your customized graphic.
In the upper right-hand corner, click “Share” and then “Download.” Make your selections and click download. Standard dimensions are already set to 1,080 x 1,080 pixels.
6. Share your design on social media!
